Eliza Szachowicz
CEO and Founder
Graduate of a full-time, five-year M.A. studies in English and German at the Institute of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw, specialising in teaching and translation. Her field of expertise is teaching English and German, as well as glottodidactic support.
She also completed a five-year full-time studies in management & marketing and international relations at the Warsaw School of Economics. She teaches general and highly specialised courses. These include Business English, Marketing English, Financial English, Insurance English and English in Human Resources. She also studied at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, where she had the opportunity to learn about the country’s language and culture.
She is also a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the SWPS University, where she obtained an M.A. degree in Law. She teaches specialised courses in Legal English.
She has many years of experience in conducting individual and group courses, classes at language schools and at the university – at the Faculty of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw, where she worked as a lecturer. She holds a certificate for CELTA (University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations) and is a language certificate examiner. She also prepares students for exams and certificates, including FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS. She is also a university lecturer.
At the BRAINBOX School, she is responsible for, among other things, methodological support for teachers, quality control of teaching, selection and creation of novel language learning materials, as well as strategic and operational management of the School and supervising its marketing strategy. She follows the latest trends in teaching so that language learning at BRAINBOX is in line with the current state of glottodidactic knowledge.
Privately, an art-pop singer (EleeS), songwriter and author of poetry in Polish, English, German and Czech.
